![]() ![]() Physical damage is a special case because unlike other common damage types (like fire, aether, etc) it is reduced not only by it’s respective physical resistance, but by armor as well. It’s free of quirks that made me question my own older build, so I can recommend it wholeheartly. It’s still good old hyper effective 2H Forcewave levelling up to level 90, but instead of the out of meta shield cadence transition it is now a state of the art Celestial Halberd powered 2H Blade Arc build later in the game. ![]() Moreover, interest in Death Knights, especially Krieg set based ones, was in decline, so I wasn’t sure my “pre-Krieg” build has any meaning if noone posts an updated follow up.Īnyway, here’s a new build I made to actualize Death Knight. I even wanted to slap “outdated” on it sometime after Forgotten Gods release because you want sword & board you get Warlord instead. But somehow that build became wildly popular and still gets linked from time to time, which is a bit embarrassing. It’s an old build I made back in 2018, and I never really considered it to be among the best of my works, quite the opposite actually. Perhaps you’ve seen my Beginner’s pre-Krieg Death Knight before. Considering I rounded a few things, this is a reasonable error.Picture with all permanent buffs, Ulzaad’s Decree and Soul Harvest This is only 1 point off from what I actually took. So the actual damage I took without either would be 3436+39.88*6=3675 ![]() The more I reduce the bleed damage, the more effect the health regeneration would have.ģ9.88 health regen. 100 damage per second over 3 seconds with 50 regeneration per second would appear to be 150 damage, but cutting damage in half would make it appear as if I cut damage by 100%. The result is 27.6 more damage than additive and 75.48 less than multiplicative.Īctually, it could be because of health regeneration while waiting for the bleed damage to finish. If multiplicative, I should receive 2336.48 with both. If additive, I should receive 2233.4 with both. I had 45% reduced bleeding duration because of a constelation I used to get health and the shaman health buff because my character was squishy. I don't need to worry about maiven's physical resistance messing anything up. No difference between wearing a full set of white armor and a belt and wearing none of that, so I assume no physical damage. I have some random blank test character level 60 that I don't use anymore since grim calc has devotions now, so when I get home later today, I could use it to test out maiven's and one of possesion/bulwark/or the shaman damage absorption one on those traps if they really do the same damage each shot.Įven if they dont do the same damage per shot, i could get the damage range which would be more tedious.ĭamage appears to be the same every time. I don't know if this is true, but it's worth a look if you don't get an answer and want to test it out yourself. In one of the discussions, someone suggested using the spike traps in tyrant's hold to test with because it does the same damage every time. I don't know the answer, but I do remember looking it up. Released in 2016, it currently has two expansions: Ashes of Malmouth and Forgotten Gods.
